December 7 - 18:

12 Days of Tech News!

Visit irclibrary.blogspot.ca for 12 days to celebrate the technology lessons and activities that are happening at IRC. Many, many thanks to our Parent Council and community for IRC's latest acquisitions of Chromebooks and iPads. They support student learning tremendously!  Thanks also to our STS (Super Tech Savvy) students who documented these activities to share with you.

December 7 - 11:

Computer Science Education Week

IRC students participate in TDSB's Hour of Code this week by learning the basic principles of coding. Algorithms, here we come! Come visit a class if you're interested and see if you can follow our steps!

December 10 - 17:

Scholastic Bookfair in Library

Come shop at our annual December bookfair.  All funds raised support IRC's students directly.

IRC Virtual Library

Did you know that your child can get help from the IRC library when outside of school?

TDSB has a Virtual Library for each school. This Virtual Library is an extension of your school library offering great resources to help with inquiry, projects, homework, building a love of reading, or just for fun.

Welcome to the IRC Library Blog!!

I'm very excited to be working with our wonderful IRC students and school community in the library this year!  Of course, you may still hear some singing coming from the room, but we will focus our attention on reading, research, technology, and media literacy.
